C's visible overt psychogical and physical detest for South Camberley Primary and infant school and sadly Mrs Kurzberg's puzzling Race comments; head of Center

Dear Sir/ Madam re Surrey Council education dept.

I would however emphasise that issue about race and racism in general or such explicit racial phrases are a different breed and are totally unacceptable. Given the context or lack thereof and the setting or any setting. This has to be addressed by the appropriate office. We cannot accept that as normal.

There are also well documented facts about how we / C have been treated. Repeated adnauseum.

The school have also not provided specialist support/ requested such as educational psychologists, play therapist, etc . They( Mr Franks) also stated they cannot guarantee his safety at lunch time etc. At the direction of the council, thankfully, a specialist teacher was eventually sent, at the end of july, for a maximum of an hour although, C was there for less than that on the day.

However, i am encouraged that C will be looking forward to a non hostile and non policing environment but more of a positive, nurturing one.

Kind regards

For and on behalf of C

It is evident, that it will be impossible for C to succeed at southcamberley.

Based on the events of the last 3 months or so, that C who is a vibrant, very confident, explorative, sporty, computer interested and intelligent five year old with intense speech and language needs, will thrive in such an extremely overtly hostile, negative and unsupportive school environment.

Among the  named individuals we have been communicating are Mrs Kurzberg, Mr Franks, Ms Thalpa and the perceived intimidating experience from the governor in a twice specially delivered letter, after ignoring their request for a meeting from inception in April 2021.

However, we welcome his current positive posture and recommendations which are constructive and amiable. We regret this wasnt the approach taken from inception before C associated the school with negativity and trigger for visible anxiety to the point of holding parents hands( strangers in that respect) to take him away from the teachers/ assistants. When he was  very keen to go to school but was not allowed until 9.00 or very close to that. Videos of only him featured at the door crying to be let in are on record. These were sent to all the concerned parties including the school governor in almost real time.

Above all, the C is noticeably displaying physical detest of the adults at the school after months of being keen.

We are no longer confident of his physical and psychological safety at the hands of the associated adults at south camberley infant.

Especially that he cant verbally express himself.

In the absence of any reasonable adjustments applied by the school, as required by law, to ensure that looks forward again to come to school, enjoys school and stays in school.

The school in the last three months have arguably failed him to the extent that he didnt wanted to stay in school without my presence.

Mrs Kurzberg Explicit

race comment

In today’s meeting i expressed strong frustrations about how we have been treated, by named individuals at the school.

Such as being shouted at by teachers, child locked out , pulled out of school after thirty minutes, had toys confiscated, physically handled , the report writing without well informed parental collaboration and consent, denial of play therapist, denial of school provided speech therapist, medical diagnosis without evidence of qualifications, report by SPLT, report re: Not increased hours for C, deciding that should b C going to a special school, without proper legal processes and lack of informed consent among other issues.

Indicating that for the last three months this is the extremely hostile and negative lived experiences what C and the family had to experience at the hands of the individuals at the school.( Named associated individuals NOT entire school or else)

Mrs Kurzberg inexplicably stated that as a white British woman she is offended or words to that effect.

That comment is puzzling and worrying.

We are formally requesting the CEO to look into this specific matter.

Especially in tandem with similar race associated other information for which the CEO apologised.

Where is the context and relevance of Mrs Kurzberg comment here?

Is it therefore unreasonable to examine the extent to which race, racial attitudes are a relevant factor in this matter?

That was inappropriate we are formally requesting an apology for those innapropriate and offensive race comments by Mrs Kurzberg who is a senior educationist in a school with diverse children.

Looking forward to C's new, inclusive, fair, nurturing, educative and non hostile education environment.
